Evie Wang（王绮）is an academic librarian and photographer based in the Greater Atlanta Area in the United States. She earned her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, focusing on archives and academic librarianship. Her liberal arts education and multidisciplinary background in Music and Classics provide her with a unique perspective. As the Reference and Instruction Librarian at Oglethorpe University, Evie is passionate about empowering students and faculty through information literacy, fostering creativity with innovative technologies and pedagogies, and advocating for open access to knowledge.
As a photographer, Evie captures the essence of cityscapes, the interplay of light and shadows, and the poignancy of everyday life. Beyond photography, she expresses her creativity as a graphic designer and vocalist, working across a range of artistic mediums.
